Simplex Westpile foundations for new Liverpool University Research facility

Simplex Westpile have installed foundation piles for the new Liverpool University Research Facility adjacent to the University’s Bio-Science Building.
The facility will comprise 5950 square meters of new laboratory space in a single four storey block and will support the University’s health research into infectious diseases, cancer, and digestive diseases.
Westpile installs Piling for Eltham Storage Facility

Westpile is installing a secant piled perimeter retaining wall in the first construction stage of the new Big Yellow Storage Facility being built neighbouring the South Circular Road in Eltham, South East London.

New Bournville College Relocation

Simplex Foundations is installing foundation piles on the new Bournville College project which was recently commenced on the site of the former MG M Rover Works site at Longbridge, Birmingham.
Middlesex University Extensions

Simplex Foundations is installing a total of approximately 1200 piles at the new Middlesex University Arts and Media Centre complex which is underway at the Universities’ Hendon Site by VINCI Construction UK.
Crossways Estate, London
Over two visits to site, Westpile is installing a total of 1100, 450 and 350mm dia. bearing piles to an average depth of 20m, on Phase 5 of the Countryside Properties housing scheme at Crossways Estate in Campbell Road, Bow, London E3.
Newcastle’s Downing Plaza

Simplex Foundations are currently installing more than 300 bearing piles and a contiguous bored piled wall consisting of 190, 600mm and 750mm rotary auger piles founding into mudstone and siltstones for Phase 1 of the new £200m mixed use development by Downing, adjacent to the St James Park Stadium in Newcastle’s Gallowgate area.
Regent’s Canal Bridge

Westpile has installed two pairs of 750mm diameter rotary bored foundation piles, some of which cut through the existing canal walls, for the North and South abutments to the new Regent’s Canal Bridge to be constructed as part of King’s Cross Central’s Eastern Goods Yard Project in central London for which the main contractor is BAM Construction and the client Argent (Kings Cross) Limited.
Simplex piles for new Hilton hotel at Heathrow

Simplex Foundations is now installing foundation piles for a new Hilton Hotel being built in the vicinity of T5, Heathrow Airport, in a £300,000 contract for Main Contractor, John Sisk & Son Ltd.
New West London Residential Development

Simplex Foundations is currently installing rotary bored load bearing piles into a new architect designed residential development in Chelsea.
The site on the corner of Hortensia Road and Fulham Road is being developed by Manhattan Loft Corporation in collaboration with The Osborne Group and is being marketed as Chelsea Apartments.
