Simplex Westpile installations for Wandsworth Riverside phase 3
Simplex Westpile is currently installing piling for Phase 3A of the prestigious Wandsworth Riverside Quarter development which overlooks the River Thames in South West London.
The installations comprise 232 bored 900 and 750mm diameter foundation piles, and a hard/firm secant piled wall of 476, 900/750mm diameter CFA piles for basement construction.
The company has deployed up to four rigs on site simultaneously to facilitate this contract.
The mixed use development will include 121 luxury apartments, associated affordable apartments and commercial space together with basement car parking.
The main contractor is Galliford Try plc. The value of Simplex Westpile’s contract is approximately £1.4m. The project completion is expected by January 2013.
